Understanding the Application Maintenance console

You use the Application Maintenance console to manage activities related to BMC application upgrades. The specific maintenance activities that you manage depend on the version of BMC applications you are upgrading to.

You do not need to use the Application Maintenance console with every upgrade.

If you need to use the Application Maintenance console to accomplish a specific upgrade, the installation instructions for that upgrade will explain how to use the console in that context.

This version of the documentation is no longer supported. However, the documentation is available for your convenience. You will not be able to leave comments.

Very vague. What does it do to help facilitate upgrades?
