Launch BMC Helix Log Analytics

When your account is created, you receive the URL and the credentials to log on to BMC Helix Portal.

1. Log on to the BMC Helix Portal.

2. Click the BMC Helix Log Analytics tile.

Explore the Explorer

You can access the following features in the Explorer page.

• Discover – View and analyze collected logs. For more information, see Deriving insights from logs.
• Dashboards – Create and view dashboards created with log data. For more information, see Deriving insights from logs.
• Visualize – Create visualizations to add to dashboards. For more information, see Deriving insights from logs.

Create alert policies

Configure conditions to generate an event. For more information, see Generating events from logs.

Enrich logs

Enrich the logs by adding enrichment sources and policies from the Enrichment menu. For more information, see Enriching logs.

Collect logs

Collect logs from various sources for analysis by configuring collection integrations. For more information, see Collecting logs.

Explore Configurations

Access the options to extract fields and archive and restore from the Configurations menu. For more information, see Extracting fields and Archiving and restoring logs.
