Central Monitoring Administration is enabled by default when you install BMC ProactiveNet Central Server, and you can register BMC ProactiveNet Child Servers with the Central Monitoring Administration during child server installation.
A registered BMC ProactiveNet Child Server with associated Integration Services enables policy actions on the following components:

If you did not register a BMC ProactiveNet Child Server with the Central Monitoring Administration during child server installation, use the pw cmadmin
command to register the child server. In a single-server environment, register the server with its own Central Monitoring Administration.

You can import the extended Central Monitoring Repository file (9.6_extended-yyyymmdd-hhmmss.zip) using the BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration. For information about importing the repository files, see Managing the repository.
