This topic explains how to obtain the BMC Real End User Experience Monitoriing files for installation and documentation. The product is a system of components. You download and install these components separately and then interconnect them to form the system.
The product files that you download from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website might contain patches listed on the product Customer Support web page. If the EPD page shows that a patch is included, you do not need to obtain that patch separately.
Create a directory in which to place the downloaded files.
Note
On Microsoft Windows computers, ensure that the directory is only one level into the directory structure. The EPD package creates a directory in the temporary directory when you extract the files, and the directory that contains the installation image must not be in a directory deeper than two levels into the directory structure.
From the Component View (the default view), in the Filter Products text box under Products, type part or all of the product name (BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring) and press Enter, or click Go.
Note
Only the product components entitled for the licenses you own will be displayed.
In the pop-up window, select the version (default selection is the latest GA version), the platform (if applicable), and click Go.
Click the appropriate tab:
Products—Displays the product files and supplementary related files available for download.
Patches—Displays the patch and service pack files available for download.
License Information—Displays the files related to licenses.
Documentation—Displays the Online Technical Documentation links and the offline zip files of the documentation available for download.
Note
You cannot select files across the tabs. When you click another tab, current selections are cleared.
For each tab, select the check boxes next to the files and documents that you want to download.
For Real User Analyzer, Real User Collector, Console, APM Central, Performance Analytics Engine, Extended Reporting, or Real User Monitor component, select one installation distribution format: ISO image files or Open Virtualization Format (OVF) template files (which are packaged in the VMDK archive file). For additional information about the installation distribution files, see Sizing considerations.
For other components, select the appropriate file for the platform on which you plan to install.
For information about deploying BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring components, see Deployment use cases and Cloud Probe deployment use cases.

SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.0 SP4 is available from the BMC Software Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) page for the BMC Analytics for BSM product. If you do not already have SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform installed in your environment, use the version provided by BMC to install it.

Select the check boxes next to the files and documents that you want to download. The SAP installation files are divided into multiple parts. Download all files to the same directory.

BMC Application Performance Monitoring Central includes the Performance Analytics Engine, Real User Analyzer, Real User Collector, and the Console (essentially, everything). See 2.6.00 enhancements.
