Managing virtual marketplaces by different users
As a service catalog administrator, internal service supplier administrator, internal service supplier, or asset manager, you can create virtual marketplaces to entitle published services, bundles, and banners to end users and user groups.
The following illustration shows the Entitlements page where you create and manage virtual marketplaces:

To enable the full catalog view
To enable full catalog view so that all users can view and request all services and bundles in the catalog (unless the items are included in the restricted entitlements list), as a catalog administrator, turn on the Enable full catalog view toggle on the Entitlements page.
When the Enable full catalog view is toggled on, BMC Helix Digital Workplace users will see a company preferred badge in the tiles of services to which they are entitled. For information about how services are displayed to end users, see Virtual marketplaces.
To restrict services to only entitled users
As a catalog administrator, internal service supplier administrator, or internal service supplier, you can restrict some services and bundles from being displayed to end users when the full catalog view is enabled.
- Select Services > Entitlements.
- Click the Restricted Services tab.
- Click Add Service, and add the services to the list.
Only users entitled to services through virtual marketplaces can view and request services available on the Restricted Services tab.
To view service entitlements by users
As a catalog administrator, internal service supplier administrator, or internal service supplier, you can view services, bundles, and banners that are available to a selected user.
- Select Services > Entitlements.
- Click the Entitlements by User tab.
- Select the user.
- Click View User Entitlements.
To manage virtual marketplaces
As a catalog administrator, internal service supplier administrator, internal service supplier, or asset manager, you can update, rename, and delete virtual marketplaces that you have created. Simply click
to open a menu with those options.Important
As a catalog administrator, you can also manage virtual marketplaces created by other users.

Required licensing
SaaS subscribers who use BMC Helix ITSM or BMC Helix Virtual Agent Basic service are entitled to this feature.
