Downloading the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installation files
You obtain the product installation files by downloading them from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website. Your ability to access product pages on the EPD website is determined by the license purchased by your company.

When to download a service pack or patch
For a fresh installation or an upgrade, check the Release notes to determine the latest update and then download the following:
- The latest release, service pack, or patch (if available). For service packs and patches, the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installer will install the full product.
- Any hotfixes that are available for known issues.

Installation and integration files
The following table describes the files on the EPD website that you must download. Access to the EPD website requires that you provide your BMC Support credentials. You might also be prompted to complete or confirm the Export Compliance Form.

To download the application files
The time to download the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog installation archive by using a web browser will vary based on your internet connection.
- Go to the EPD page for BMC Digital Workplace Advanced 18.02.
- If you are not already logged in, follow the prompts to login to the EPD website with your support login ID and continue to the site.
Select the check boxes beside the files to download as shown in the following example.

- Click Download (FTP).
The system sends you an email with a customized link to a download folder. - After you receive the email, follow the instructions to open the ftp location.
