Editing tenant packages and contract end date

You can add or change the entitlement packages that are available to a tenant's users and change the tenant's contract end date. A package is a set of requestable offerings that you can make available to tenants. Packages are created from the Entitlement Packages tab in the Service Catalog workspace, as described in Creating entitlement packages. For overview information about entitlement packages, see Entitlement packages overview.

Using this procedure, you can control which entitlement packages are available to a tenant's users.

To edit tenant entitlement packages and the contract end date

  1. From the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Administration Console, click the vertical Workspaces menu on the left side of the window and select Tenants.
    The list of onboarded tenants is displayed in a table.
  2. Select a tenant company for which you want to assign or change entitlement packages.
  3. Click the Edit Tenant icon .
    The packages that are available for the company are displayed in the Available Entitlement Packages table.
  4. To add packages for the tenant:
    1. From the Available Entitlement Packages table, select the packages that you want to make available for the users of the company.
      You can find specific packages in the table by:
      • Paging through a long list by clicking the page button .
      • Searching for a package by entering a search string in the Search box under Available Entitlement Packages and clicking the search icon .
    2. Click the Add button to move your selections to the Selected Entitlement Packages table.
      You can also drag packages from the Available Entitlement Packages table to the Selected Entitlement Packages table.
  5. To remove packages:
    1. Select the packages from the Selected Entitlement Packages table.
    2. Click the Remove button to remove your selections from the Selected Entitlement Packages table.
      You can also drag packages from the Selected Entitlement Packages table to the Available Entitlement Packages table.
  6. To change the Contract End Date, click the Contract End Date calendar button and select the new date when the tenant will no longer to be able to request cloud services in the BMC My Cloud Services Console.

    Note

    • The Contract Start Date is the date when the tenant was onboarded; you cannot change it.
    • The Contract End Date defaults to the start of the day, at 12:00 A.M. To increase the the length of the contract to the end of the day, add an additional day.
    • If you leave the Contract End Date empty, the tenant's access is open ended.
  7. Click Save.

Within a few minutes, the service offering in the packages listed in the Selected Entitlement Packages table is available for the tenant's users to request in the BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management My Cloud Services Console.
