Pending activity records
Pending Activity records are stored on the AR System server in the CMF:CloudTask form. An escalation (CMF:CTK:DeleteCompletedTasksGT3Days) runs every night at 2:30 AM that deletes all Pending Activity records that are older than 3 days and have a status of CANCELLED or COMPLETED. You can change the schedule and frequency of this escalation in BMC Remedy Developer Studio.
Pending Activity records that have a status of FAILED or CALLOUT_FAILED are automatically archived to the CMF:CloudTask_Archive form and then deleted from the Pending Activities table (CMF:CloudTask form). If you want to archive all records, follow the procedure below.
You should monitor the CMF:CloudTask_Archive form and delete records periodically to prevent a buildup of records in this form. The archive runs every night and archives records that are older than 3 days and have a status of FAILED. You can adjust this setting in Form Properties – Archive for the CMF:CloudTask form in BMC Remedy Developer Studio.
Archiving all pending activity records
- In BMC Remedy Developer Studio, open the CMF:CloudTask form.
- From the Form > Form Properties menu, click Archive.
Under Qualification, remove the follow qualification segment:
AND (('taskState' = "FAILED") OR ('taskState' = "CALLOUT_FAILED"))- If you want to change how often the records are archived and deleted, you can change the Run If Qualification.
The the default value of 3 is the number days before it archives and deletes the records from the form. You can change this number to increase or decrease the number of days before records are archived and deleted out of the form. - Click OK button to save the form.
- Since the above change will delete all records, the following escalation is no longer needed. Open up the Escalations object in dev studio and open the following escalation: CMF:CTK:DeleteCompletedTasksGT3Days
- Go to Execution Options and change State from Enabled to Disabled and save the Escalation.
