Organizations with a helpdesk or a taskforce to help employees with a situation related to COVID-19 can also provide an option to other employees who would like to volunteer for the resources required.

Flow of Activities
- Employee goes to BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced and selects the BMC Sample Facilities-COVID Support Volunteering & Resources service.
- Employee selects the Assistance to volunteer for from the list of items available in the form.Based on the selected item, further details are asked from the Employee in the form.
- When the request is submitted, a case is created for the Facilities line of business.
- A case agent verifies the information provided in the case to check whether the resources being offered can be added to the resource pool that the taskforce can dip into whenever there is a request for the same resources.
- If the verification is successful, the agent updates the task and an email is sent to the employee confirming that their offer to volunteer has been accepted.
- If the verification is not successful, the agent updates the task and an email is sent to the employee confirming the same.
