Creating cases to perform operations on Workday person data
As an administrator, after you integrate BMC Helix Business Workflows with Workday by using Jitterbit, case agents can access Workday person data and manage Workday service requests from BMC Helix Business Workflows. BMC Helix Business Workflows provides case templates and task templates to perform operations on Workday data. Case agents can create and manage cases by using these available templates.

Ensure that BMC Helix Business Workflows is configured to use Workday API. See Configuring BMC Helix Business Workflows to use Workday APIs.
Case templates available for performing operations
BMC Helix Business Workflows provides the following case templates and their corresponding automated task templates to perform operations on Workday data:

Get Time Off Balance from Workday | Get Time Off Balance from Workday | Retrieves an employee's time off balance (in days) from Workday. |
Request Leave of Absence from Workday | Request Leave of Absence from Workday | Sends a request for a leave of absence in Workday. |
Update my home address in Workday | Update Employee Address in Workday | Updates an employee's home address in Workday. |
Update my Legal Name in Workday | Update Legal Name in Workday | Sends request to update an employee's preferred name in Workday. |
