Deploying an application schema by running a Deployment Action

This topic details how to deploy an application schema by running a Deployment Action. When you run a Deployment Action against a database, it creates an association between the database and the application schema which can then later be used to target Applies to Actions against the database.

Before you begin

You must have a Deployment action already set up to deploy application schemas.

To deploy an application schema by running a Deployment Action

1. From the Management Console, click Application Schemas.
2. In the Repository Listing section, select View from the actions drop-down to open the properties of the existing application.
3. In the Deployment Actions section, click View Action.
4. In the Action View page, review the Action properties and click Run.
   This runs the Deployment Action to deploy the application schema on the selected database.
