Showing the alert history

You can scroll back through alerts to see alerts received in a certain time span; alerts appear in the pane if the event has been configured to show a Console Alert.

  1. Select Tools > Show Alert History to open Alert History. This might take some time as alert history is assembled.
  2. In the Alert History dialog box, select the begin and end dates and times.
  3. Click Request Data to retrieve the alerts history for the specified time range. See the Alert History section below.

Alert history

Alert history lists the alerts that occurred in a selected time range.

Field

Description

Triggered time

The time the alert triggered.

Cleared time

The time the alert cleared.

Topic

The topic that triggered the alert.

Message

The alert message.

Begin Date/Time

The begin date/time range to display.

End Date/Time

The end date/time range to display.
