Packaging KMs for PATROL 3.5 and PATROL 7.x

This appendix discusses various KM packaging and development items and procedures that are not documented in other places. Some of these items and procedures relate directly to the KM Certification requirements, and other items do not elate directly to KM certification, but all the information in this appendix is very important for KM developers creating KMs for PATROL 3. x and PATROL 7. x.

The PATROL 7. x introduces new components, architecture, and a common install. These changes require some KM development and packaging changes to ensure that KMs will install correctly and work with both the new PATROL 7. x Consoles and the PATROL 3. x Consoles.
