20.05.00 enhancements

This topic provides information about the enhancements and features introduced in PATROL for Microsoft Windows Servers version 20.05.00.

Enable debug logs

A new monitor profile (KM Debug) is added to the KM to enable KM debug logs. For more information, see KM Debug monitor profile

Disable automatic process monitoring

A new check box (Disable Automatic Process Monitoring) is added to the Windows Processes monitor type to disable default monitoring of processes.

By default, the processes for which you have configured the CPU threshold and time duration are monitored. You can use the new check box to disable it. For more information, see Configuring Windows Processes.

Updated attributes metadata

Aligned attributes metadata as per the BMC standards to have same look and feel across all KMs.

These changes would not affect your existing alarms and thresholds configurations when you upgrade to PATROL for Microsoft Windows Server 20.05.00.
