Installing Atrium Integrator server in a server group

You can use the Atrium Integrator server in a server group environment to distribute jobs across multiple Atrium Integrator Carte Servers. For more information about Atrium Integrator with multiple carte servers, see Atrium-Integrator-in-a-server-group-environment.

Before you install Atrium Integrator server in a BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System server group environment, consider the following:  

• Atrium Integrator supports load-balancing capability in an AR System server group environment only. You can install Atrium Integrator server on the secondary server if you want multiple carte servers.
• When you choose to install the Atrium Integrator server on a secondary server, the installation program detects the presence of Atrium Integrator server on the primary server.

To install Atrium Integrator server on the primary server

1. Install the Atrium Integrator server on the primary server as described in Installing-Atrium-Integrator.
2. Restart the primary server.

To install Atrium Integrator server on the secondary server

1. Install the Atrium Integrator server on the secondary server as described in Installing-Atrium-Integrator.

2. Restart the secondary server where you have installed the Atrium Integrator server.

   Note

   Follow the same procedure to install Atrium Integrator server on all members of the AR System server group.
