Remedy as a shared service deployment
This section helps you understand the shared service architecture in your Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) suite environment and provides guidelines for planning the architecture.
In a shared service architecture, either of the following components can be deployed as a shared service:
- BMC Remedy Mid Tier
- Enterprise Centralized Configuration Server (ECCS)
- BMC Remedy Smart Reporting deployment
