Login IDs on BMC Helix ITSM People form


During the installation of BMC Helix Service Management, users with specific login IDs are created. These login IDs may be present on the People and/or User forms. Depending on your configuration, you will see one or more of these present in each environment.

Login IDs created at the time of installation

The following login IDs are created during the BMC Helix Service Management installation:

Login IDs that can be deleted post installation

You can delete the following login IDs post installation of BMC Helix Service Management as these are not required after installation:

  • Demo
  • appadmin
  • activationuser
  • chatops_admin
  • bmcopsenduser
  • bmcopssupportagent
  • bmcopsl1manager
  • tmart_user

To delete these users, run the HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline by using the HELIX_POST_DEPLOY_CONFIG option. See Performing the BMC Helix Service Management installation.

The following login IDs are not deleted by the HELIX_POST_DEPLOY_CONFIG option and are retained:

  • sradmin
  • hannah_admin
  • chatuser
  • chatrkmuser
