Parameters added in the HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline

The HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline did not include the following parameters:

  • ENABLE_EXTERNAL_SECRET_VAULT
  • ENABLE_PLATFORM_KEK_RBAC

The HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline includes the following parameters:

  • ENABLE_EXTERNAL_SECRET_VAULT—Use this parameter to integrate and use a CyberArk vault for password management.
  • ENABLE_PLATFORM_KEK_RBAC—Use this parameter to create a service account, role, and role binding for key encryption key (KEK).

Parameter removed from the HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline

While building the HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline, you had to provide values for the HELM_BINARY parameter.

The HELIX_ONPREM_DEPLOYMENT pipeline does not contain the HELM_BINARY parameter.
The parameter is removed from the pipeline to prevent duplication, but it is still controlled by the pipeline.

Ansible version in deployment pipelinesDeployment pipelines used Ansible 2.9, which has reached end of life (EOL).Deployment pipelines now support Ansible 2.18, ensuring compatibility with the latest features and security enhancements.
