Support for BMC Helix ITSM upgrades

Refer to the following table for supported source and target versions for upgrading BMC Helix ITSM by using BMC Helix Data Manager:

Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) download process

BMC Helix Data Manager is currently available in the Controlled Distribution status to customers.

To download BMC Helix Data Manager

• A Customer or Partner requiring the password to download BMC Helix Data Manager contacts their respective Account or Partner Manager.
• The Account or Partner Manager consults the Customer or Partner and fills out the BMC Helix Data Manager questionnaire to get answers to questions regarding the migration process they are planning.
  Download the  Helix Data Manager Controlled Access Questionnaire. According to the policy, the Account/Partner Manager must update it in collaboration with the Customer/Partner, preferably during a call. After the questionnaire is completed and shared, the HDM Project Manager will assess it and provide the download password directly to the Customer/Partner point of contact. 
• The Account or Partner Manager provides the Customer or Partner with the details about the recommended trainings.
• The Account or Partner Manager shares the filled questionnaire with BMC Helix Data Manager Product Management (PM) for their review. 
• BMC Helix Data Manager PM reviews and provides the BMC Helix Data Manager EPD download key to the customer representative as mentioned in the customer questionnaire response over email.
