Support for more BMC products

BMC Helix Data Manager has an easy-to-use interface and enables you to move a huge amount of data quickly—in a matter of hours, not days or weeks.

Previously BMC Helix Data Manager supported data migration for the Remedy family of products only. Now, after you upgrade one of the following products to the latest version, you can use BMC Helix Data Manager to migrate the data:

Remedyforce migration

Remedyforce customers can now migrate their data to BMC Helix ITSM and Digital Workplace Catalog by using BMC Helix Data Manager. For more information, see the topic Registering-a-system-for-Remedyforce.

Migration Packs for each application

BMC Helix Data Manager includes tailored Migration Packs for each application listed above. For more information, see Migration-packs-that-support-upgrades.

A new look and feel

The BMC Helix Data Manager UI has a new face. New colors and logos match the BMC look and feel. The old Customer Move Tool (CMT) name has changed to BMC Helix Data Manager.
