Viewing the link between form mappings and data enrichment

The Link sub-tab of the Data Enrichment tab on the Data Mapping page (select Data Migration > Data Mapping) shows the link between the currently selected form mapping and data enrichment. The example below shows a Mapping Data Enrichment OUTER Join with the qualification:

The following details are displayed on the Link tab:

Field

Description

Qualification

The qualification linking the Form Mapping - Source Form and the data enrichment data set.

For optimal performance, there should be a one-to-one mapping between the data enrichment records and the records in the form mapping. If that is not possible, set the Select First Matching Entry flag.

Link Join Type

Available options are:

  • Outer (the default)—All records from the source form are included in the data migration. Matching data from the data enrichment are included where a match is found.
  • Inner —Records from the source form that don't have a matching entry in the data enrichment are excluded from the data migration.

Select First Matching Entry

If more than one record will be returned from the data enrichment data set by the qualification, select this check box, and the first matching entry is used. If you do not set this option and there are duplicate matches, the data will not be imported.

This setting may negatively impact performance of data migration operations.

If no link exists, you can create one by setting a qualification and clicking Link.
