Logging matching qualification values

By default, BMC Remedy Distributed Server Option uses request IDs to match source and target requests (see Creating-distributed-mappings). You can, however, instruct BMC Remedy Distributed Server Option to use a different field or set of fields to match requests. To do this, you must add a matching qualification to the distributed mapping (see Matching Qualification).

When BMC Remedy Distributed Server Option implements a distributed mapping that contains a matching qualification, it logs the fields and values used to match the source and target request. The Mapping match qualifier values entry identifies these values. For example:

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
