Accessing and navigating the AR System Administration Console


As an administrator, you can access the AR System functions from the AR System Administration Console. The console is part of the AR System Server Administration plug-in, which consists of a library file and a deployable application. The plug-in is installed as part of the AR System server installation.

To access the AR System Administration Console

  1. In a browser, go to http://midTierServerInstallDirectory/arsys/forms/serverName.
  2. Log in.
  3. Select Applications > AR System Administration > AR System Administration Console.

To access the Mid Tier interface

Go to http://hostName:portNumber/arsys where hostName is the name of the web server where Mid Tier is running. 

The AR System interface helps end users to navigate the AR System forms and other objects, Approval Central, and consoles of BMC Helix ITSM applications.
