Viewing and modifying alternate approver definitions


The approval administrator might need to modify the permissions on the fields in the AP:Alternate form to allow submitters to make changes to requests in the form.

  1. Open Approval Central by using one of the methods described in Approval-Central.
  2. In the Actions section, click My Alternate Approvers.
    The AP:Alternate form opens in New mode.
  3. Click New Search to change to Search mode, and click Search.
    The results list appears, containing a list of your past, current, and cancelled alternates.
  4. Select the record for which you want to view the details or modify.
    The record details appear in the details pane.
  5. (Optional) To cancel the approver, select Cancelled from the Status list.
  6. Click Save to save your changes, or Close to close the record without any changes.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
