Boosting document relevance

To influence the relevance score that the search engine calculates for returned results, add a reserved ID field (177) with a data type of Real to a form. The range of the boost value is 0 to 2000. The default boost is 1.0 (the neutral value).

To increase the relevance, an entry must have a document boost value of 1.1 to 2000. The higher the value, the more relevant the entry is. To decrease the relevance, an entry must have a document boost value of 0 to 0.9. The lower the value, the less relevant the entry is.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
