Adding a Microsoft Azure connector configuration

As an administrator, you can add a Microsoft Azure connector configuration so that a connection between BMC Helix Innovation Studio and Microsoft Azure is enabled. After you add the configuration, you can map the configuration to the Azure elements in the Process designer.

To configure a Microsoft Azure connector

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
  2. Select Connectors > Azure, and click Add new setting.

  3. Enter the values for the following fields:

    Connection Id

    Connection ID for the connection.

    Name for the connection.

    Important - To avoid duplication, make sure the value in the Name field is Azure.

    Subscription Id

    ID obtained during creation of the Azure account.

    Tenant Id

    Value of the Directory ID corresponding to Active Directory in Azure.

    Client Id

    Value of the Application ID obtained after creating an application in Azure Active Directory.

    Client Key

    Password that you specified during creation of the Active Directory account.

    Region

    Region from the available Microsoft Azure regions.
