AR System external utilities

Use the command-line AR System server utilities to perform certain specific tasks such as rename the server or data cleanup.  

The command-line utility such as arcache has trace mode or debug options that send output to stdout.

Tip

(Unix and Linux) When you run an external utility that needs a password as an input, from the command line, escape the password if it contains a Dollar sign ($) or an exclamation mark (!).
