Viewing and modifying alternate approver definitions


Use the following procedure to view or modify existing information about an alternate approver.

To view and modify the record for an alternate approver

  1. Open Approval Central by using one of the methods described in Approval-Central.
  2. In the Actions section, click My Alternate Approvers.
     The AP:Alternate form opens in New mode.
  3. Click New Search to change to Search mode, and click Search.
     The results list appears, containing a list of your past, current, and cancelled alternates.
  4. To see details, select the record you want to view; the record details appear in the details pane.
  5. Modify the fields you want to change.
  6. To cancel this approver, select Cancelled from the Status list.
  7. Click Save to save your changes, or Close to close the record without any changes.

    Your administrator might need to modify the permissions on the fields in the AP:Alternate form to allow submitters to make changes to requests in the form.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
