Troubleshooting Assignment Engine


The Assignment Engine is bundled with AR System server. Therefore, there is no separate procedure to troubleshoot Assignment Engine. The com.bmc.arsys.assignmentEngine-<version number>-SNAPSHOT.jar is located in \BMC Software\ARSystem\deploy folder.

The Assignment Engine files are deployed at the following location:

\BMC Software\ARSystem\assignmentengine\bin

List of Assignment Engine files available after an upgrade:

  • araejversionNumber_buildNumber.jar
  • aej-message-bundle.properties
  • log4j.properties
  • aejstartup.bat

The bin folder is empty if you have performed a fresh installation. These files are present but are not used during an upgrade.
