Avoiding abrupt shutdown of the mid tier

  1. From the Services window, stop the Tomcat service.
  2. Open the Windows registry, and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > CurrentControlSet > Control.
  3. Create a new DWORD Value.
  4. Rename the property as ServicesPipeTimeout.
  5. Double-click the property name, enter the value data as 120000 and select base as Decimal.
  6. Click OK.
