Load balancing with Email Engine

To achieve a load balance with an Email Engine with multiple mailboxes, follow these steps:

  1. Install the Email Engine on a single server.

    For more information, see Installing.

  2. Add following attribute in each AR System Configuration Generic UI form:

    com.bmc.arsys.emaildaemon.Mailboxes

    See Configuration-settings-C-D.

  3. Give different names to each mailbox, so that each installed Email Engine will work for only a particular mailbox.
  4. Ensure that all of the Email Engines refer to the same AR System server.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
