Running a job immediately

After you create a job, you can run it immediately. For example, to check compliance in preparation for an audit, create a compliance job, as described in Creating-a-job, and then run it.

To run a job immediately

  1. In the navigation pane of the Software Asset Management (SAM) console, choose Functions > Manage License Jobs.
  2. Select the job and click Run.
     The job runs immediately. You can view the results in the History, as described in Viewing-the-results-of-a-license-job.
Warning

Note

If you run two license jobs at the same time, performance is degraded because the two jobs are run sequentially.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
