Configuring service requests


To create a service request for every incident from BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management/BMC ProactiveNet, you must first configure service requests.

To configure service requests

  1. Log on to the BMC IT Service Management home page.
  1. From the Application list on the left side of the page, click Administrator Console > Application Administration Console > Custom Configuration > Incident Management > Advanced options > Rules.
  2. On the Incident Rules form, for the Create Service Request for Event Incident option, select Yes.

Note

If customer information is not sent from BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management/BMC ProactiveNet, the corresponding service request is not created.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
