SLM:Measurement and SLM:SLACompliance form fields


For all types of service targets, the latest status of the service target measurement is available on the SLM:Measurement and SLM:SLACompliance form. These forms are used to track the state changes during the service target processing life cycle.

because OverallElapsedTime = OverallStopTime - OverallStartTime, hence OverallElapsedTime is 259200 seconds (3 days).

For example,
DownStartTime= 8/5/2004 5:05:05 PM, which is the time when the Exclude Qual is met in the request.

because DownElapsedTime = DownStopTime - DownStartTime, so the DownElapsedTime is 3600 seconds.

For example,
UpStartTime= 8/5/2004 5:05:05 PM, which is the time when the Start When Qual is met in the request.

UpElapsedTime

Stores the total Up Time of a request.

For example,
UpStartTime= 8/5/2004 5:05:05 PM, and UpStopTime = 8/5/2004 6:05:05 PM. Since UpElapsedTime = UpStopTime - UpStartTime, then UpElapsedTime will be 3600 seconds.

Stores the length of time between Start and Stop Time of a request, excluding the Exclude time (Down time).

For example,
OverallElapsedTime = 120 seconds, and UpElapsedTime = 90 seconds. Because UpTime = UpElapsedTime, UpTime is 90 seconds.

For Request-Based, it stores the time when MeasurementStatus=Missed Goal.

For example, if
MissedGoalStartTime = 8/5/2004 5:05:05 PM, it is the time when the MeasurementStatus = Missed.

Stores the progress (status) of a service target for a request. 

For a request-based service target, status values are:

  • Attached: When a service target is attached to a ticket.
  • In Process: When Measurement Start condition is met on the ticket.
  • Pending: When the Measurement Exclude condition is met. The time in this state is excluded from the final overall elapsed time calculation.
  • Missed Goal: When the service target Due datetime has passed, but the Stop qualification is not met.
  • Met: When the Measurement Stop qualification is met and the UpElapsedTime is less than or equal to the GoalSchedGoalTime.
  • Missed: When the Measurement Stop qualification is met and the UpElapsedTime is greater than the GoalSchedGoalTime.
  • Detached: When the ticket is modified so that the terms and conditions of the service target no longer match the ticket.
  • Invalid: If the service target has been deleted, or wrong value populated in the ticket form, the value expected to match the configuration in the SLM:ConfigDataSource form.

Stores the progress (status) of a measurement. The status can be either Yes or No. The status is set to Yes when Stop When Qual is met.

Availability%

Keeps an asset or service available during a certain percentage of time.

For example, IT commits that a group of servers will be up and running 90 percent of the time for a period of six months.

Tracks the number of times that an asset or service was unavailable. The goal of the service target is not to exceed a certain number of down occurrences.

For example, an asset cannot be down for more than five times in a period of six
months.
