Scenario task 6 - Create the service catalog


With the information that the Calbro service owners have assembled to this point, the creation of a service catalog becomes a fairly simple task of formatting and transferring the data into the service catalog. Calbro service owners and the business relationship managers use the service catalog as a tool to manage their available business services and service offerings, introduce new service offerings, and retire those offerings that are no longer needed. Calbro has plans in the future to provide access to request-based business services through BMC Service Request Management or BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, so users can automate the process of reviewing and selecting a service that fits their needs. Calbro's IT department uses the service catalog as a tool to understand new requests that are placed with them to accommodate future business services and service offerings.
