Service Cost Ranking portlet

You can display the services within the selected cost scenario listed as per the cost of the services. The Service Cost Ranking portlet lists both business and technical services. The cost of service is derived from the active cost model(s) associated with each service. The portlet can display the following two types of charts:

  • Direct Cost Ranking
This chart displays the total direct cost of specific cost elements in the cost model associated with the service and the percentage that these elements contribute towards the direct cost. The software considers direct costs associated with the following cost elements in the active cost model for this service:
    • Asset
    • Labor
    • Technical Service

      Warning

      Note

The software does not use the direct cost of the service that you specify in the IT Service Details window for this calculation. The data in the Service Cost Ranking portlet is based on the direct cost of elements in the active cost model associated with the service.

  • Full Cost Ranking
This chart displays the total cost of providing each service. The application derives the total cost from the active cost model associated with the service.
