Project Portfolio Cost Analysis portlet

The Project Portfolio Cost Analysis portlet provides summarized view of the budgeted and actual cost of a project portfolio or a set of project portfolios.

The Project Portfolio Cost Analysis portlet displays the project portfolios, along with columns of data describing budgeted cost, actual cost, and the variance between the two.

To view details for the portfolio, click the name in the Portfolio field in the Project Portfolio Cost Analysis portlet.

To specify the information to display in the Project Portfolio Cost Analysis portlet

1. Click the Edit icon.
   The Edit Project Portfolio Cost Analysis window is displayed as shown in the following figure:
   
   
   
2. Optionally, in the Title field, specify an alternate name for the portlet.
3. From the Portfolio list, select the project portfolio.
4. In the Cost Type field, select either Expense with Depreciation, Expense without Depreciation or Capital.
5. From the Sort list, select the criterion from the following choices:
   • Budgeted-The planned, budgeted cost
   • Actual-The actual cost
   • Variance-The variance between budgeted and actual cost
6. In the Schedule Health field, select the schedule health criteria to use to display the portfolios.
7. From the Date Range lists, select the dates.
8. In the Maximum number of items to display field, type the value.
9. To display the projects in each portfolio, select the List All Projects check box.
10. Click Save.
