Creating remote views

Use this procedure to create remote views.

To create remote views

  1. On the BMC Remedy AR System server, run the cr_itm_remote_views_ora.bat script that can be found at C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BMCITBusinessManagement\Shared_Components\sql\hybrid\oracle. The syntax is as follows:
    cr_itm_remote_views_ora.bat <AR DB Oracle Service Name or SID><AR DB Schema User Name><AR DB Schema User Password><ITBM DB Oracle Service name or SID

  2. On the BMC IT Business Management Suite server, run the cr_ar_dummy_views_ora.bat script that can be found at C:\Program Files\BMC Software\BMCITBusinessManagement\Shared_Components\sql\hybrid\oracle. The syntax is as follows:
    cr_ar_dummy_views_ora.bat <ITBM DB Oracle Service name or SID><ITBM DB Schema User Name><ITBM DB Schema User Password>
