Order New PC

The IT content pack provides a service to order a new laptop. End users can select their preferred device type, such as MacBook Air or MacBook Pro; can choose to order a refurbished or a new device; and can get the device delivered to their home address.

Important capability of the service

The Order New PC service includes the following capability:

Promoting a consumer-like shopping experience

Employees get a consumer-like shopping experience when they order a new PC. They can add the service to their cart and save it for later or request it immediately, as shown in the following image:

After requesting the service, the end users can select their preferred device type and delivery address, as shown in the the following image:

After submitting the service request, the work order is generated and can be viewed in Smart IT, as shown in the following image:
