Configuring job settings for proactive problem management
As the problem coordinator, you can configure recurrent and on-demand clustering jobs for proactive problem management based on the requirements of your organization.
To configure your clustering jobs, click Manage Jobs. The Proactive problem management settings page is displayed. On this page, you can create recurrent and one-time jobs, and view the list of jobs that you have created. You can create a maximum of three recurrent jobs and three one-time jobs.
When you log in for the first time, you can define a one-time or a recurrent job. When the job is completed successfully, you can select it from the Jobs list in the dashboard to view the clusters.
For the jobs that you have created, you can view the following details:
- Job name
- Status of the last job (Scheduled, Run, Failed, Queued)
- Message after job run
- Schedule for the next job (for recurrent jobs)
- Option to enable or disable a job (for recurrent jobs)
- Quality of the job
You can view job configuration details, delete and edit jobs.
Even though your incident text contains mixed language, pre-processing is done on the basis of the language you select. The following languages are supported for configuring proactive problem management jobs:
- English
- German
- Spanish
- French
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Chinese
You can also specify additional stop words to be used for a selected language. In this scenario, the default stop words and additional stop words uploaded here or the time of job definition are used for incident data processing.
