Operating system and low-level software model

The BMC_SystemSoftware class and its subclasses store information about operating systems and other low-level software that manages computer resources.

For example:

  • Operating systems are modeled by using the BMC_OperatingSystem class.
  • BIOSes and firmware are modeled by using the BMC_BIOSElement class.
  • Virtualization hypervisor software is modeled by using the BMC_VirtualSystemEnabler class.
