Job Console overview

The Job Console is the primary interface for creating new snapshot and comparison jobs, and checking on existing jobs. It provides a listing of all jobs that have been created.

Important

  • You must have Drift Master or Drift Admin privileges to use the Job Console. Drift Admin can create and modify jobs, and view and use the authoring items such as Baseline and Target. Only Drift Master can create and modify Authoring items.
  • You can use the Drift Viewer permissions to use the Job Run History options.

The following image shows the Job Console:

When you select a job in the Jobs pane, details about the job are displayed in the Details and Job Run History panes.
The Details pane shows information about the job, including the name of the baseline and target used by the comparison job, date last modified, the current run schedule for the job, and other job actions.

The Job Run History pane displays the run history of the job.

You can view more details about a selected job by clicking the View Log button and then select Display or Save to Disk.
To view details on a detected drift in a job run, you can access the Drift Console from the Job Run History pane by clicking the View Drift button. The View Drift button is available only if a snapshot job is selected.
