Viewing updates to CIs

You can view CIs and relationships that were added or successfully updated CIs in your production dataset. You can also see which CIs and relationships are marked as deleted in the production dataset by using the CI Updates page.

The following figure shows the CI Updates page that shows the CIs and relationships that were added, edited, or marked as deleted in the production dataset.

To view updates to CIs

  1. On CMDB Portal, select CIs >CI Updates. 
    The CI Updates page opens.
  2. Review the CIs and relationships that were added, edited, or marked as deleted from your production dataset (BMC.Asset).
    When a large number of CIs are added to the production dataset, it takes a few minutes for the CI Updates page to reflect the changes.
    Hence, sometimes even after adding CIs or updating CIs, the Added or Edited column in the CI Updates page may display zero for a few minutes.
  3. (Optional) Click the link for a CI CI_Updates_Link.pngto launch the CI in CMDB Explorer.



 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
