Atrium Integrator Pentaho plug-in

By using the Pentaho plug-in, you can run and monitor Atrium Integrator jobs and transformations from AR System vendor forms. This plug-in is designed specifically to enable an AR System or BMC Helix ITSM application user to create a comprehensive, AR System form-based data management user interface.

Plug-in type

Pentaho is a Java-based AR System Database Connectivity (ARDBC) plug-in.

AR System server connectivity

The Pentaho plug-in connects and interacts with the AR System server by using the AR System Java APIs. This plug-in (pentahoardbcVerNum.jar)* is installed in the <ARInstallationFolder>\diserver\ardbc-plugin directory. (VerNum represents the version number of the release.)

Configuration information

The configuration information of the Pentaho plug-in is available in the AR System Administration: Plugin Server Configuration form.

The AR System Administration: AR System Configuration Generic UI form includes the Server-Plugin-Alias setting that points to the correct plug-in server alias as follows:
Server-Plugin-Alias: ARSYS.ARDBC.PENTAHO ARSYS.ARDBC.PENTAHO myServer:9999

Note

Due to security issues related to Jetty version 8.1.15 that is bundled with

Atrium Integrator

Spoon (Pentaho), Jetty has been upgraded to version 9.4.20, resulting in changes to Jetty configuration that includes SSL connections.  Hence, for this release, BMC does not certify Pentaho-Jetty with SSL configuration.
