20.02.07: Patch 7 for version 20.02

This topic contains information about fixes and updates in this patch, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the patch.

This release consolidates the hotfixes delivered for BMC CMDB version 20.02 and later into a single patch.

Important

Before you install this patch, ensure that BMC CMDB version 20.02 is installed on all servers in the server group.

Updates

When you run an identification activity in a reconciliation job, if the Generate IDs field is set to Yes for the production dataset (BMC.ASSET), the identification activity looks for missing reconciliation IDs in the production dataset and generates a unique reconciliation ID for those CIs. However, if the Generate IDs field is set to No, the identification activity will skip the ID generation task for the production dataset. By default, the Generate IDs field is set to No. If you have any CIs without a reconciliation ID in the production dataset, set the Generate IDs field to Yes.
