Accessing the Product Catalog

You can manage the Product Catalog by using the Product Catalog console or by using APIs.

Before you begin

To access the Impact Simulator through the CMDB Portal, you must configure the default web path of the Mid Tier server in AR System Administration Console. For information, see Configuring-the-default-web-path-of-the-Mid-Tier-server-in-AR-System-Administration-Console

To access the Product Catalog Console

  1. Log in to the CMDB Portal.
  2. Click Configurations > Product Catalog
    The Product Catalog Console opens in the PDL:PD_Console AR System form.

To access the Product Catalog by using APIs

You can manage the Product Catalog by using the BMC Remedy AR System APIs, including Oracle Java, C++, web services, and forms. For more information, see Developing an API program in the BMC Remedy Action Request System online documentation.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
