Creating a copy of the universe

  1. Log on to the Universe Design Tool.
  2. Select File > Import.
  3. From the Import Universe window, select the universe and click OK.
  4. Select File > Parameters.
  5. In the Name field in the Universe Parameters window, change the universe name to <universe> - BACK UP.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Save As dialog box, update the file name in the File name field as <universe> - BACK UP.unv.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select File > Export.
  10. In the Export Universe dialog box, select the <universe> - BACK UP universe and click OK.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
