Applying color theme to the line of business templates

Skinning and branding define the look and feel of your application UI, reflecting the color theme and logo of your organization.

As an administrator or a case business analyst, you can use BMC Helix Innovation Suite to customize the appearance of BMC Helix Business Workflows that suit your organization's brand colors and theme. For more information, see Customizing the skins and logo for BMC Helix Innovation Studio applications.

When you upgrade your application, the new color theme is automatically applied to all non-customized components. 

To apply a color theme to the line of business templates

If you have copied out-of-the-box global templates to your line of business, perform the following steps to apply the new color theme to those templates.

Important
When you apply the color theme to copied templates, the updates only affect the non-customized parts of the template. Any customized sections remain unchanged.

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
  2. Under Workspace tab, select Notification Service library.
  3. Navigate to Processes> Manage Process.
  4. Select Apply Branding to Template Messages and click Run.
  5. Add the Line of business for which you want to apply the color theme changes and run the process.
