Applying branding to the line of business templates


In BMC Helix Business Workflows, skinning and branding refer to the appearance of components, such as views and global templates, on the application UI. This is configured through the BMC Helix Innovation Studio.

 As an administrator or a case business analyst, you can use BMC Helix Innovation Suite to customize the appearance of BMC Helix Business Workflows that suit your organization's brand colors and theme. When you upgrade your application, the new skinning and branding is automatically applied to all non-customized components. 

To apply branding to the line of business templates

If you have copied out-of-the-box global templates to your line of business, perform the following steps to apply the new branding to those templates.

Important
When you apply the branding changes to copied templates, the branding updates only affect the non-customized parts of the template. Any customized sections remain unchanged.

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
  2. Under Workspace tab, select Notification Service library.
  3. Navigate to Processes> Manage Process.
  4. Select Apply Branding to Template Messages and click Run.
  5. Add the Line of business for which you want to apply the branding changes and run the process.
