BMC Helix Business Workflows Performance benchmark summary

A series of multi-user tests were conducted to determine the performance and scalability of BMC Helix Business Workflows. The following product were used in the tests:

  • BMC Helix Innovation Studio
  • BMC Helix Single Sign On (RSSO)
  • BMC Helix Digital Workplace Catalog
  • BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced
  • BMC Helix IT Service Management (ITSM)

The Micro Focus Silk Performer product was used as the load driver to simulate concurrent online users executing a specified number of business transactions per hour. Transactions for each concurrent user are based on industry-standard transaction rates for each business process.

Performance tests have been carried out by scaling vertically up to 2300 users. For a description of the use cases, including the number of transactions per hour bench-marked for a concurrent user, see Performance test methodology.
